Half-Staff New Mexico Flags – Honoring Robert Baron
Thursday, December 12th, 2013American Flags and New Mexico Flags to fly at half-staff Thursday, December 12th in the State of New Mexico in honor of Robert Baron. Sgt. Baron was a member of the Sandoval County Sheriff’s Office who died as a result of injuries suffered in the line of duty. Sgt. Baron had previously served as a deputy and a detective before achieving his rank of Sergeant. Prior to joining the Sandoval Sheriff’s Department, Baron worked as an officer for the US Park Service as well as a probation officer for Los Angeles County.
