Half-Staff Alaska Flags – Honoring Bill Ray
Sunday, September 15th, 2013Alaska State Flags to fly at half-staff Tuesday, September 17th in honor of former Alaska Senator Bill Ray. Ray served in the US Navy from 1942-1945. He was elected to the Alaska House of Representatives in 1964 where he served for six years. Ray was then elected to the Alaska Senate and served until 1986.
