Virginia Flags to fly at half-staff Tuesday, February 28th through Friday, March 2nd in the city of Virginia Beach in honor of former Clerk of the Circuit Court of Virginia Beach, Honorable J. Curtis Fruit.
American Flags and Ohio Flags to fly at half-staff Tuesday, February 28th at the Statehouse in Columbus in honor of Daniel Parmertor.
According to the office of the governor:
Daniel Parmertor was a student at Chardon High School who was killed Monday in a school shooting. Flags are also to fly at half-staff in Geauga County.
American Flags and Virginia Flags to fly at half-staff Wednesday, February 29th at the Capitol Complex in Richmond in honor of US Army Brigadier General Terence “Terry” J. Hildner.
Flags are also to be flown at half-staff in the following counties: County of Arlington and County of Fairfax.
American Flags and Washington State Flags to fly at half-staff Thursday, March 1st in honor of Washington State Patrol Trooper Tony Radulescu; who was killed in the line of duty.
American Flags and Massachusetts Flags to fly at half-staff Monday, February 27th in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in honor of Marine Corporal Christopher Arzola.
American Flags and Arizona Flags to fly at half-staff Monday, February 27th in the state of Arizona in honor of Kyler Estrada.
According to the office of the governor:
Petty Officer 3rd Class Kyler Estrada died February 14 as a result of a non-combat related training incident in Djibouti. Estrada, a Navy hospital corpsman, was assigned to the 11th Marine Expeditionary unit based at Camp Pendleton, California.
Flag were previously lowered on February 16th as well for Kyler Estrada.
American Flags and West Virginia Flags to fly at half-staff Friday, February 24th in the state of West Virginia in honor of law enforcement Sergeant Michael May.
According to the office of the governor:
After working briefly at the Eastern Regional Corrections facility and the Berkeley County Sherriff’s Department, May began his career with the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department in Morgantown, W.Va. In his role at the department, May was assigned as a leader on its Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team, a shift supervisor and earned the rank of Sergeant. May died in the line of duty while responding to a call to assist fellow officers in a police pursuit.
American Flags and Wyoming Flags to fly at half-staff Tuesday, February 21st in the state of Wyoming in honor of Teton County Search and Rescue member Ray Shriver.
According to the office of the governor:
Teton County Search and Rescue member Ray Shriver was killed during a mission on February 15, 2012. Over the years, Mr. Shriver had participated in some 800 missions with Teton County Search and Rescue.
