Our 5x8' East Timor nylon international flags are made from high grade nylon material. The nylon is manufactured to withstand the elements. Each flag is fully dyed for great ink penetration and finished with a standard canvas heading and brass grommets.

Re-adopted with the restoration of the independence of the Democratic Republic of East Timor in 1975, the national flag is red with two overlapping isosceles triangles. With their bases stretching along the hoist, a larger yellow triangle lies beneath a smaller black triangle. The point of the yellow triangle reaches almost halfway to the fly. In the center of the black triangle is a white five-pointed star, symbolizing peace. One of the star’s ends points to the midway point of the hoist, resulting in an unusual orientation.
