American Flags and Massachusetts Flags to fly at half-staff Monday, July 14th in the Commonwealth in honor of US Marine Lance Corporal Sean M. Dougan. Lance Corporal Dougan was assigned to Marine Special Operations Command, 2D Marine Special Operations Support Battalion and was stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC. He was killed in a motorcycle accident July 2nd in Jacksonville, NC.

American Flags and Virginia Flags to fly at half-staff Friday, July 11th at the Capitol in honor of U.S. District Judge and former State Senator Honorable James Turk.

Flags are also to be flown at half-staff in the City of Radford and in any location deemed appropriate.

American Flags and Kentucky Flags to fly at half-staff Thursday, July 10th in the Commonwealth of Kentucky in honor of US Army Staff Sgt. Jason McDonald. Staff Sgt. McDonald died as a result of injuries suffered in combat while serving in Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 5th Special Forces Group at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 5th Special Forces Group at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
