Half-Staff Pennsylvania Flags – Honoring William Guarnere
Thursday, March 13th, 2014American Flags and Pennsylvania Flags to fly at half-staff Friday, March 14th at the Capitol Complex and in Philadelphia County in honor of World War II Veteran William Guarnere. Guarnere served in the US Army during WWII with Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, in the 101st Airborne Division. His life and exploits were part of the “Band of Brothers” mini-series.
