Arkansas Flags to fly at half-staff Wednesday, November 21st in honor of US Army Sergeant Joseph Richardson.

According to the Department of Defense:
Sgt. Joseph Richardson died November 16th in Paktika province, Afghanistan from injuries suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device and small arms fire. Richardson was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 28th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kansas.

American Flags and Washington State Flags to fly at half-staff Tuesday, November 20th in the state of Washington in honor of US Army Staff Sergeant Matthew Stiltz. Staff Sergeant Stiltz died November 12 in Afghanistan of injuries he sustained when his unit was attacked by insurgents.

American Flags and Oregon Flags to fly at half-staff Monday, November 19th in the state of Oregon in honor of US Army Captain James Nehl.

According to the office of the governor:
Captain Nehl died November 9th while conducting combat operations in Ghazni Province, Afghanistan. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 16th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kansas.
