Army Specialist Ronald H. Wildrick, Jr. died on December 11, 2011 in Kunar Province, Afghanistan, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
American Flags and Arizona Flags to fly at half-staff Friday, January 13th in the state of Arizona in honor of Deputy William Coleman on the date of his interment. Flags also flew at half-staff this past Monday in his honor.
American Flags and New Mexico Flags to fly at half-staff Thursday, January 12th in the state of New Mexico in honor of Sergeant Pernell Herrera.

New Mexico National Guard Sgt. Pernell Herrera passed away after suffering cardiac arrest while serving in Afghanistan on December 31. Sgt. Herrera was the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions including: Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal (Expeditionary), Global War on Terrorism Medal (Service), Army Service Ribbon, and the Army Overseas Service Ribbon.
