The King, NC City Council voted to approve their new lottery system that will allow citizens to apply to fly flags over the Veterans Monument.  They see this as the resolution to the six month debate over whether the Christian Flag should be flying above a public monument.

Flags are to fly at half-staff today from sunrise to sunset for Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.
