American Flags and New York Flags to fly at half-staff Tuesday, April 10th in the state of New York in honor of US Marine Cpl Christopher Bordoni.
According to the office of the governor:
US Marine Corporal Christopher D. Bordoni died as a result of wounds sustained while conducting combat operations in Afghanistan. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, based at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

Spc. David W. Taylor died March 29th in Afghanistan while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. Taylor was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, N.C.

Captain Nicholas Rozanski, Sergeant First Class Shawn Hannon and Sergeant First Class Jeffrey Rieck all lost their lives while serving our country in Afghanistan.

Staff Sgt Jesse J. Grindey of the United States Army lost his life while serving his country during Operation Enduring Freedom. Staff Sgt. Grindey was a member of the 287th Military Police Company, 97th Military Police Battalion, 89th Military Police Brigade, Fort Riley, Kansas.
