American Flags and Missouri Flags to fly at half-staff Friday, April 5th in Boone County and at all Dept. of Corrections facilities statewide in honor of Thomas Clements.
Clements was the former director of the Division of Adult Institutions in the Department of Corrections, and a 31-year veteran of the department. He was serving as the executive director of the Colorado Department of Corrections at the time of his death on March 19.

North Carolina Flags to fly at half-staff Wednesday, March 27th in honor of Senator Robert Warren, Sr.
According to the office of the governor:
In 1979, he was elected to the NC Senate and served from 1980 – 1988. In 2005, Senator Warren received two prestigious honors: the Order of the Long Leaf Pine and the dedication of a section of Interstate 40 in Johnston and Sampson counties which is named the “Sen. Robert D. Warren Highway.”
