American Flags and Arizona State Flags to fly at half-staff Wednesday, May 8th in the state of Arizona in honor of former Maricopa County Deputy Sheriff David Wargo.

According to the office of the governor:
Maricopa County Deputy Sheriff David Wargo passed away early last week as a result of severe head trauma he received in the line of duty in May 2003. Deputy Wargo was attempting to detain a fleeing suspect in a supermarket parking lot when he was dragged by the suspect’s vehicle, causing him irreparable head injury. Due to his extensive injuries, Deputy Wargo continued to receive close medical care until his passing on May 1, 2012.

American Flags and Wisconsin Flags to fly at half-staff Tuesday, May 8th in the state of Wisconsin in honor of US Army Cpl Benjamin H. Neal.

According to the office of the governor:
US Army Corporal Benjamin H. Neal lost his life while serving his country during Operation Enduring Freedom. Corporal Benjamin H. Neal was a member of the 1st Battalion, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, N.C.

American Flags and Arizona Flags to fly at half-staff Monday, May 7th in the state of Arizona in honor of Arizona Peace Officer Memorial Day.

American Flags and New York Flags to fly at half-staff Monday, May 7th in the state of New York in honor of US Army Captain Bruce Clark.

According to the office of the governor:
Captain Bruce K. Clark died in Afghanistan while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. He was assigned to A Company, Troop Command, William Beaumont Army Medical Center, in El Paso, Texas.

American Flags and Massachusetts Flags to fly at half-staff Friday, May 4th in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in honor of SFC Donald Reis.

American Flags and Kansas Flags to fly at half-staff Friday, May 4th in the state of Kansas in honor of Kansas Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Day.

According to the office of the governor:
Since last year, Kansas has lost one Law Enforcement Officer in the line of duty. On December 9, 2011, Atchison Police Department Sgt. David Enzbrenner was killed on duty while assisting city code enforcement officers who were serving a nuisance order. Sgt. Enzbrenner was 46 years old, and a 24-year veteran of the Atchison Police Department. The 30th Annual Kansas Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony will be held on Friday at noon on the south steps of the Statehouse grounds.
Sgt. Enzbrenner’s name joins the names of 266 law enforcement officers already listed on the Kansas Law Enforcement Officers Memorial.

American Flags and Pennsylvania Flags to fly at half-staff Wednesday, May 2nd at the Capitol Complex and in Lehigh County in honor of US Army Captain Charles Barnes.

According to the office of the governor:
Capt. Barnes was listed as missing in action after contact was lost with his aircraft in Vietnam on March 16, 1969. The U.S. Department of Defense recently
announced that his remains had been identified. Capt. Barnes will be buried with full military honors at Arlington National Cemetery.
