Denmark Flags

The Danish flag is considered by many to be the oldest continuously used national standards in the world. Featuring a Scandinavian white cross on a bold red field, the vertical stipe of the cross is slightly off center and closer to the hoist. The cross, which symbolizes Christianity, is featured in other Nordic national flags such as Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. The name of the flag is “Dannebrog” meaning “The Danish Cloth.”
