Azerbaijan Flags

The Azerbaijani flag is made up of three equal-sized horizontal stripes of blue, red, and green, top to bottom. Adopted in 1918, the flag features a white crescent to the right of an eight-pointed star centered on the red stripe. The blue in flag reflects its Turkic roots, the green symbolizes Islam, and the red represents modernization.
