Veterans Day (also known in several other countries as Remembrance Day) is upon us, and it is a time to celebrate ALL those who have served our country in wartime and peacetime. Not to be confused with Memorial Day, which remembers those who have died in service to this country, Veterans Day (yes that’s the correct spelling!) honors and celebrates LIVING veterans who have sacrificed and served this country’s national security (Flags fly at full staff on Veterans Day). Especially now, it is a time to be thankful for peace and join in honoring those who protect us. So fly your American flag with pride, and this November 11th when you see an Armed Forces flag flying, remember all military personnel who have and are serving the United States of America.
