Pitt County Government currently has an official flag, but it’s been around for a while and needs to be refreshed. That’s where you, the Pitt County citizen, come in! Pitt County Government is launching the Pitt County Flag Redesign Contest which starts today, February 1, and will run through March 12.

Pitt County designers, young and old, are encouraged to participate in the contest, which will ultimately lead to the Pitt County Board of Commissioners adopting a new flag. Are you an illustrator? Participate! Prefer graphic design software? Submit an entry! All designs are welcome, whether hand drawn or computer generated, and the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will be recognized at the April 16th Commissioners meeting.
