Custom Appliquéd Flags
Appliquéd flags are typically done in low quantities with fairly basic
artwork and limited color choices. Each flag is hand sewn one at a time so the
cost of the flag is dependent on the logo/design and the size, not a number of
colors. Appliquéd flags are typically made single reverse – correct front,
mirror image back – but can be completely double sided upon request. Unit cost
can be high, but there are no minimum quantities.
Digitally Printed – Dye Sublimation Flags
This is a newer technology in the flag industry that has wide applications.
Best suited for low quantities, but when a complex logo or specific PMS color
needs to be matched. These processes allow us to complete small runs or
individual flags for our customers whose design cannot be appliquéd or colors
are not available. Pricing is usually based on square footage and a set up fee.
Screen Printed – Dyed Flags
Another traditional method of making flags in larger quantity runs. A wide
variety of sizes are available and most spot colors can be matched. The minimum
quantity is 6 pieces and there are initial screen charges for the first order.
The unit cost is much lower for screened flags and allows large quantities to
become affordable. Pricing is based on the number of colors in your design. |
